About Garrett Sohnly

Born in a town called Sylvania Ohio, Sohnly has lived in Ohio in general for 26 years and Delaware County for about 13 years. As a local who wants to better the county by being more diligent and equitable with our funds, Sohnly wants to see Delaware County grow in a sustainable way. Sohnly is passionate about protecting public spaces, showing representation of all people and neighborhoods equitably, encouraging use of permeable pavements and other rainwater conservation strategies, helping reduce carbon emissions, and generally promoting preservation of our wildlife and Natural resources. We as the local residents have already seen a massive influx of big development, construction, and general growing demands becoming county wide issues such as ODOT Connect 23, help Sohnly protect the locals from getting pushed out.

Sohnly has a BFA in Interior Architecture with minors in fine arts and creative writing from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 2019. Sohnly is currently a professional CAD Designer for an electrical engineering firm and would like to bring their professional experience to the board. Sohnly is dedicated to the people of this county, and with your vote, your support, and your donation they will work towards showing why they deserved it.
